Mugging

My gosh..., all the incessant mugging is getting into me. So interminable, when will it ever end? It's the ne plus ultra of tedium and agony. It takes an unremitting spirit and an unyielding, unrelenting will to curb the immense magnitude of the insufferable memorising everyday. Gosh, God, give me strength.

Perhaps, i'm just being hyperbolic and melodramatic...

I seriously think that someone should expostulate with the Ministry of Education about the small amount of time given for our humanities examinations. Seriously, the whole idea of humanities now becomes a test of dexterity and the adroit capability of candidate to write out everything, instead of just a test of pure memory work. We just need someone intrepid enough.=D Though it's almost 100% that the ministry would scoff at our juvenile requests and repudiate it without even any consideration.

Getting jaded from the frigging muggings.

Studying

Nerds
Are they the ones forever steeped in studying, lounging with books repleted with knowledge that culminates in them being eccentric, and always estranged and ostracized by those who party till the late hours everyday ?
Is it worth playing away your time to protect yourself from the word nerd?
hmmp, register no. 21-38= nerd
-.-
Are you trying to be a joker or what?
Or is it that it's just that we our calibre and innate capability to manage time is so enviable to you?
We play a lot more than you guys think we do, we slack a lot more than you guys think we do.
The only difference between US and YOU GUYS are that we won't let any form of fun abate our unremitting spirit.
Jun Wei is a nerd, yeah i agree. But so? He's results are amazing, but, he plays DOTA. Excessively.
But why does he still score so well? is it because he is born a genius? he has some latent potential peculiar only to him? or that he's the only special person granted a plethora of time?
No, because he manages his time effectively.
Come on, register no. 1-20 is fun while the rest are pure nerds is obviously a stereotyped statement.
No wonder ming ge says that 3d1 is a boring class -.-. It appears to me that most of you haven't even had have a taste of fun.
Just because i appear to be studying most of the time doesn't mean that i'm a nerd with no life.
perhaps you aren't privileged few to know me well enough.
But well, i don't suppose you deserve my propaganda and become a studious person huh?( i'm not using studious as a euphemism in case some of you are wondering)
Go on, try, just play, wait till you get back your results.
Don't go crying and whining like a little baby then.
And when your Os are out and you can't get into the faculty you want, you must remember that you are the precedent to what happened.
And eventually to compound the problem, your varsity life is also screwed. it'll be totally irrevocable by then, and, i abhor this particular side of me, but i'm gonna relish scrutinizing your squealing and face etched with anguish and regret.=D
I'm not going to implore or beseech you to work hard now because it's none of my business, but i abhor the way you speak of me.(you *jolly well* know who you are)

maggots!

An appalling sight!
Wonder if the school would promulgate this hapless incident to the school tomorrow.
The incipient indicident may be a precedent of harbinger of a foreboding diarrhea crisis.
To compound to the problem, I ATE FROM THE STALL TODAY.
The plate inundated with them crawling, swimming up and down the rice.
Who would've expected the school's canteen have such a skeleton in the cupboard.
No one prognasticated this imminent crisis.
The green plate stall's image is bound to be marred by this hapless predicament, how discouraging. And the number of people patronising the stall is bound to plunge as word starts to spread like wild fire.
Eww, i hate maggots.

Circumstances

Everybody has to deal with it. So i thought. Perhaps its something for us to ponder over in our gloomy introspections? Run away from it? Because it's too arduous? It's impossible? It's difficult and painful? Its interminable?

You pray to God to relieve you of it, but what if He doesn't answer you? Does that mean he doesn't love you? NO! It only meant that he is using you in the most perfect way. He is a provident God! A God of perfection!

Circumstances are part and parcel of everyone's life and its how you responese to it. In your most undesirable circumstance, God is exploiting it to shine His light to the world. In your nadir of the circumstances, God's strength is in it's zenith. You say you want God to use you, but why are you still lamenting about all the negative impacts around you? Thank God and rejoice that through those people would be able to see the light surging from you!

It's impossible when you say it, when you do it on your own. But when you place your trust in Him, it becomes all but impossible.
God is greater than any kind of problems and circumstances. You pray of it, He gives it, as long as your heart is in line with his plans, his circumspect contemplations.

Secrets

I've finally watched the movie <>, by international mandarin pop prince Jay Chou.
It really deserves my applauds and adulation. I just can't stop extolling its original plot. The cast was made up of some very adept pianist. I didnt know that Jay was such an adept pianist himself. It appears to seem that he really started he's piano and music ambition at an adolescent age of 3. The movie wasn't the slightest bit of cliche.

Speaking of cliche, i realised how languid and pathetically lazy mediocorp was. The 7.00 o'clock show on channel 8 had a repitition of some show three years ago. Some lady allergic to seafood coerced herself to gorge on seafood to please the guy who was oblivious to her allergy and love. How cliche.

lol

and i was once again devasted by fusillades of virulent melancholy. The copious despondency. Its getting the better of me.
But, i will not give up =D.

Propaganda.

It's always so depressing, so demoralising, so discouraging, so tiring, so daunting, to know the one you look up to for perfection is only a mere facade. The inexplicable agony, knowing that it's all but your foolish, naive imagination fabricated from your susceptible mind. Her ideal image, now marred by flaws that i've never believed would be. Her idiosyncratic features are only but the harbinger of the unravelling of more daunting imperfections. The melancholy.=(

Blogging is a virulent tool of propaganda. Its scandalous. Everything should be taken with a pinch of salt. If not, you'll WILL end up with the wrong impression. Take for instance, people says my english is chim by reading my blog. But truth is, my english is pathetically deplorable. It's not where near an A1 or what so ever. Its like we are being little Hitlers, dwelling others in our merciless propaganda. We are advocating the usage of scandalous propaganda no matter to what extent. Be it for evangelical purposes or for stirring biasedness. It's propaganda.

They're all leaving.

It felt so warm and nostalgic.

It was just a simple embrace.

Peculiar concoctions of overwhelming emotions engulfed me, albeit it was only for a very minute few seconds. It felt so sad. At the same time, i felt very proud that she'll be going to the UK to realise her true potential. It felt so inalienable, so acute. Even for that very few moments, memories of how she stormed into our class, to how she cracked jokes and share her hilarious life stories to persuading us to focus on our work. It felt so , part of me. The impending part of her need to leave is bound to come and it did.=(

But we were lucky enough that coming to know each other happened.=D

Nostalgia.2

It was evening. The sun is already touching the dunes.

The atmosphere was perfect.

The ambience was prepared for a nostalgic feedback.

All anticipated with much anxiety. Especially someone.

It was all too sudden. She just sat next to me. Unexpectedly, she came from the back door. I wasn't ready. I tried to supress my feelings and think of the most brutal and appalling things. It was no use. My temperature was rising. Ironically, i didn't perspire, not even for the slightest bit. It felt cold on the outside, but real warm inside. I could feel my blood coursing voraciously through my veins. My heart was about to burst. I was sure my pupils were dilated raw.

My friend's egging on made it rather awkward. I had to shift, though very reluctantly and very slowly, to supress my inalienable yet overwhelming emotions. My temperature was rising.

It certainly was well relished. I slurred and stuttered abit when talking to her, but well it ain't that deplorable. Atleast i talked to her. I had to comfirm every word i want to say before shooting it out.

It took quite awhile, but soon the table was spread with layers of lavishing, sumptuous food.

Too much i supposed. Just too much. As nicholas and i struggled to swallow the last morsels of the meat, glaring at us.

Atlas we were done with our meal.
It was really an enjoyable day for us all.

Nostalgia.

We were given a very warm welcome as we entered her house one by one and in an odd sense, furtively. Albeit the house is now adorned and embellished with a spread of baby's toys(okay maybe quite plentiful), all seemed not one bit changed. The cupboard made of mahogany to the right of the living room was decorated with pictures of her past and many little post cards. We sat down in an encirclement on the floor. My sitting position was most susceptible to the baby's little drooling assaults. Certainly we were'nt here for some jamboree or lavished party. Its more of a get together session with fellow 2d1 class mates and our much ardulated English teacher Mrs Tham. The nostalgic ambience once again sets in, following a precedent of memories worth reminiscence. I remembered a time when she told us about the story of the human chao siew bao and the Eye ballS story. It was embellished with all the gross yet intriguing descriptions. They were so vivid and idealic to scare the wits out of some girls in our class. But those were of the past now.

We played a game of taboo. My group cleverly adopted the tactic of sarcasm. The rules of the games are rather simple. We would be given task of explaining a word explicitly so that your group members would be able to guess it. But unfortunately, the challenge is that we are not allowed to say the word we are trying to convey or the keywords given along with the word.
Therefore my group, which involved my clique of friends who are adept 'sarcasm users', we gave clues like 'giiiiiiiiiiiiive uuuuuuuuuuuuuuup' for words like 'perservere'.
But all in all, my team won. And i would like to thank Yong Liang for his significant contribution in salvaging my group's near defeat and Kian Seng who clinched the final point. The most difficult question which only he could answer. what a genius.lolz

We left after the game of Taboo and went for dinner and Sumoya. Khim Geok, Titus, Jia En, Kian Seng and Yong Liang left, leaving only Ying Ting, Zhen Ning, Jie Run, Nicholas, Grace, Quan Mei, Bryan and I to go eat dinner.
The food wasn't stupendously sumptuous or lavishing, seems like i couldn't expect much from a fast food cafeteria.

Went home and felt very lethargic and remitting.

MUG

everyday is a mugging day.

Holidays are more tortuous and monotonous than i thought it'll be=(. No doubt over the pass few days, i've finally been able to get back onto my unrelenting and unremitting momentum again, poise for any arduous or interminable period, but the price to pay is definitely not the most idealic of all. The long hours of mugging would inevitably take its toll on my health and its only inherent that i'll break down. But i digress. This may just be me being paranoid and melodramatic and that all this is only transient, especially so for the deplorable self-expunging part.

Albeit i hate to admit it, school days are more boisterous, ebullient, always so filled with energy, sometimes to even to the brim. Its always painted with vibrant colours, wielding all kinds of surprises and antics in stall for you. I really relish being part of THE board of directors in 3D1. Its indeed an inalienable and memorable experience.

Though at times it could be tainted with flaws, marred with challenges and maybe emnating social problems such as fights and quarrels, which would make you think that perhaps it was just you being naive and placing your school on a pedestal. But if you look back, at the innate potential you maximized during your time in school, the copious growth you've made, the many tremendously cohesive bonds you build with your own bare hands and the visions that finally materialized, you'll realise its worth the arduous journey. The end results may not be at its zenith, but its the process that matters. Cherish the time you have.

But i digress. Mugging is still a must.=D lol.
i'm being oxymoronic here.xD

Anyway, my frigging zuo wen is yearning for me to complete it.
AHHHHHH!!!! STILL MUST READ NEWSPAPER!!!!

Procrastination

My prayers held through:D. After a spate of bugging and persistence,i'm finally allowed to go for the mission trip at the end of the year.
Now it comes back to the question of whether there'll be enough spaces left and whether i'll pull through the obnoxious, superfluous selection scheme.

But i digress.(haha karyn xD) The way i got my parents to agree really left me aghast momentarily. By right my mother would, as per normal, give me her lukewarm agreement while my father would say almost nothing about it and just give me his support. But this time its something not quite the same. My mother said no. She felt the duress of the Taliban incidents, which actually coerced her into her rejection of my humble proposal to go for the mission trip. The hawkish world out there also contributed to this conclusion.
Hours later. In the car. I once again sent out my humble requests, only that its in the presence of my father. First, i would like to emphasize that my father, in relative comparison to my mother is much more prudent and circumspect. And its not like i beseech him or anything. But he assailed me with his unforeseen rhaposody. What seemed like a foreboding end was immediately placed on a pedestal. It was just too perfect. Its definitely God's doing. He contemplated this from the start. He answered my prayers. He is the provident God.

=D.

Anyway, i'm glad that im finally back into the unremitting momentum, all ready for some kick-in-the-ass mugging.

AWw, i have to go to school tomorrow. The deferred physics test is awaiting me. So much for the holidays.
