ok... hmm... today...very cool...
Okay, i've decided to start blogging again.=)
I shall blog from the time school started and till the time school ended.
Today was another one of those usual school days except that today was a half day instead and the first half is just performance with the remaining thirty minutes free roaming time.
During the "wonderful", "unique" and amazingly "spectacular" yet "short" performance, all of us were made to sit on the so called smooth surface of the quadrangle. We had to "enjoy" the show under the sun. However, miraculously, i did not perspire in school today, which i found very cool. The school had a very interesting opening ceremony for the festive highlight. The principal and the other vice-principals were supposed to fire the party poppers in which the principal, despite her pathetic desperate attempt failed to do so. Zhen Ning predicted that and we were laughing away.
Okay, the first performance up the stage was the lion dance troop. yay. they wasted 35 minutes for us. The lion dance show was very boring, to such an extent that zhen ning was going to fall asleep. On top of that, the lengthy performance exacerbated the situation. Amid these highly untorelable conditions, the once in a decade retard, Venurach, was throwing stones at the people in front of him. Initially I ignored his negligible existence. However, a stone thrown by that a%$hole, hit my shoulder which angered me to a fair extent that Zhen ning and I started to pick up stones and started back-firing. Oh ya, i almost forgot to say that Ming Ge, as the mc, was wearing a very cool suit today.
After the lion dance performance it was the Chinese Contemporary Dance. Initially, the performance was only slightly below average before it started to get very messy and chaotic. Grace was like "Got meh?" lol... If i were to rate the dance /5, i would easily give it 1 or 2.
Thirdly, it was the china group from some "creative" company. I believe and insist that this should be the main event of this stage performance crap. These kids, whom i think are only in their tens, can stretch and flex to an amazing feat. I was seriously amazed anfd astonished, especially by Ms fantastic( for her amazing stretching abilities). I am inclined to agree with my friends that our school's Chinese contemporary dance is peanuts in the name of this little kids not older than ten or eleven.
Finally, the last performance which i do not understand the moral of the story at all. Ya huan, keiko, Si pei and Ruo fan were acting in this skid. Keiko's acting abilities were very inadequate, which the same goes to Sipei. Well atleast Ya huan and Ruo fan made us laugh a little(good effort).
After this whole time wasting stage performance, we were given 30 minutes of free roaming time to try chinese tradtional games. I won some money at school today, $2 from the 5 stones game and $2 from the dice rolling game. For the 5 stones i obviously had some strings to pull. However, for the dice game, Dan Dan was in charge so, quite obviously we had to play by the rules. We had to get 4 dices with the same number by rolling them in one minute. And guess what? I got four 4s in my first try xD wtf eh? Bryan T.Y thought i was cheating haha...
After school, titus, yong liang and zhen ning camr to my house to play, while jie run parng seh us once again. We are d-r-i-f-t-i-n-g already. sobs. Anyway, like usual, zhen ning and the rest bought some instant cook food which they, especially Zhen Ning, deem as sumptious. lol? As a food connoiseur, I feel that they have been missing out on many things in this world.
