Love
It remedies all kinds of deplorable situation, the perfect prescription to illnesses with pertinence to matters of the heart. It encompasses everything and deals promptly with every kind of issues. It heals and restores a broken heart. Something that even multitudes and plentitudes of riches can never replace. It is something intangible yet ironically tangible - an inexplicable force.
In the face of death in the hospital, all you'll yearn for is the love of your family and friends.
Therefore, i will be very emphatical about putting love above abhorrence.
Do not fuel your life with abhorrence but fill your life with overflowing love and magnanimity.
I used to be very spiteful and pugnacious, always quarreling with people, either for the taste of victory and pride or for because i was overly sensitive.
But then, i started to realise, that, the circle of friends i have is shrinking.
It was the start of my misery.
Then, now, i learnt to love everyone, (yes even those i used to despise or abhor).
And it's a much more wonderful feeling.
When you hate, it's exhausting and draining.
You have to remember not to talk to the person, to stare at him/her with an icy cold stare.
Your mood will be altered by him/her.
No matter how much you think you're in control, it's you're emotions that has the better of you.
You're just oblivious to this horrible truth.
SO people out there, please learn to love and forgive others.
Diminish the hatred in you and extend the love out to those who needs it.
The world would be a much better place to live in then~

Integrity
Integrity
Ever felt an inexplicable urge to enquire for answers from those who have taken the test you have yet to take? Have you ever wondered whether you should take up this route of depravity? Just so that you could earn accolades and recognition though you know it’s done illicitly?
Well, after living for 16 years, I’ve observed that an average person cheats in 2 out of 5 of his tests and major exams. The tendency to cheat for major examinations is indisputably higher due to the larger degree of marks allocation for the final year report card.
No doubt you may have earned yourself respect and popularity with these results worth accolades that you’ve achieved, but what for? I remember stressing how inconsequential pride is when you enter our society – a representative term of a place imbued in avarice.
The most astonishing fact is that inept people are getting what they do not deserve because of how deft and adept they are at gathering answers for their upcoming tests or exams.
I know of people who cheat for the recent SPA examinations and seriously, I do not see the point of taking the examination if it’s not a test of your own capabilities, but of others.
The definition of examination is “a test of a student's knowledge or skill in a particular subject which results in a qualification if the student is successful”
Furthermore, what happened to lifelong learning and the fervour to learn? We enroll in educational institution to equip ourselves with essential skills to contribute to our economy and knowledge for our working life.
The moral of the story is, we must not condescend ourselves to cheating just so as to earn something we rightfully do not deserve.
And, don't you even have an iota of scruple?

SCARS OF LIFE
Some years ago, on a hot summer day in South Florida , a little boy decided to go for a swim in the old swimming hole behind his house.
In a hurry to dive into the cool water, he ran out the back door, leaving behind shoes, socks, and shirt as he went. He flew into the water, not realizing that as he swam toward the middle of the lake, an alligator was swimming toward the shore.
His father, working in the yard, saw the two as they got closer and closer together. In utter fear, he ran toward the water, yelling to his son as loudly as he could.
Hearing his voice, the little boy became alarmed and made a U-turn to swim to his father. It was too late. Just as he reached his father, the alligator reached him. From the dock, the father grabbed his little boy by the arms just as the alligator snatched his legs.
That began an incredible tug-of-war between the two. The alligator was much stronger than the father, but the father was much too passionate to let go.
A farmer happened to drive by, heard his screams, raced from his truck, took aim and shot the alligator. Remarkably, after weeks and weeks in the hospital, the little boy survived. His legs were extremely scarred by the vicious attack of the animal. And, on his arms, were deep scratches where his father's fingernails dug into his flesh in his effort to hang on to the son he loved.
The newspaper reporter, who interviewed the boy after the trauma, asked if he would show him his scars. The boy lifted his pant legs. And then, with obvious pride, he said to the reporter, "But look at my arms. I have great scars on my arms, too. I have them because my Dad wouldn't let go."
You and I can identify with that little boy. We have scars, too. No, not from an alligator, but the scars of a painful past. Some of those scars are unsightly and have caused us deep regret. But, some wounds, my friend, are because God has refused to let go. In the midst of your struggle, He's been there holding on to you.
The Scripture teaches that God loves you. You are a child of God. He wants to protect you and provide for you in every way but sometimes we foolishly wade into dangerous situations, not knowing what lies ahead. The swimming hole of life is filled with peril - and we forget that the enemy is waiting to attack. That's when the tug-of-war begins - and if you have the scars of His love on your arms, be very, very grateful. He did not and will not ever let you go.
But the twist to the story is that he bears most of the scars for us!!!!
Please pass this on to those you love. God has blessed you, so that you can be a blessing to others. You just never know where a person is in his/her life and what they are going through. Never judge another person's scars, because you don't know how they got them. Also, it is so important that we are not selfish, to receive the blessings of these messages, without forwarding.

One tenth.
For today's post, i would touch on the topic of the human's goodwill and benevolence. Humans by nature are goodwilled, magnimous and selfless. It was good. However, there is a throng of people who are slowly changed by society. We soon become selfish, easily jealous and highly competitive. We deride someone in hopes of being part of a posse and want copious accolades in order to survive the tough competition built by the male's ego and influence. By pride.
Thus, winning one of these competition would bring joy, jubilance, pride and confidence. Your friends proclaim that they're happy for you. Glad that you won. But how many of those friends of yours are candid. Are being 100% honest about it, that they're happy for you.
Victories, spanning from imperceptible sensitive issues such as attention from your peers to conspicuous championship over national competitions, invite envy, dislike, gossips, abhorrence and worst of all, a strain in perhaps some of your friendships. Sarcastic remarks would follow, coupling with schemes and plots.
Out of 10 people, there is only 1 person who would congratulate you, to candidly congratulate you, sharing your joy, giving you the truefully sweetest laughter and smile. And for the winner, he would only be glad that he has, even if it is, one such of a friend. To be able to put down his or her pride to lift him up.
And, it is really pointless to become all green with envy if your friend triumps over you in something no matter how inconsequential or significant. Afterall he or she is your friend. Why strain the friendship over something so easily forgotten as time passes. Why give up the friendship which took so much blood and sweat, time and respect to build. Something which could probably last ten times more than any number of victories remembered?
So, be that one tenth who would cling onto a friend no matter what happens, good or bad, for it truely is pointless being the majority nine tenth.
Be that one tenth.

Intrigue...
Lost within the 11th hour,
Different yet the same.
Found again without the keys,
Entrance lies in "hasty-keys".

The millions out there.
There is this man, young and simple, leading an ordinary life. Or perhaps, not so ordinary in his adulthood. Extraordinary.
D.L Moody was once an impoverished student who was poorly educated, with only the completion of his primary six education. However, once his adolescence were finally over, that's why life became really interesting and awesome for him.
Though dully educated, he is blessed with great oratory skills, and extreme perserverance. He is a very devout christian, who spent most of his life preaching the gospels to the thousands of people out there who've yet to convert.
He is a very special preacher, a very gifted one. He is bestowed with words of wisdom, fraught with puissance, to deliver an impact so heavy one has to lie to deny God's existence. More than often, his rallies would end with thousands of people, be it agnostics, atheists, hedonist, infidels or even people belonging to other religions, seeking coversion to christ.
Now, he is famous for his rallies held in the US. He is too famous for his own good. He started arousing envy amongst the other priests and pastors. They were confounded by what was so great about this man. That albeit holding only a primary six education and a lack of eloquence, he was able to reach out to the thousands of people out there in this world. He was like a small candle, yet igniting an immense flame, lighting the darkness for many still lost in an abyss.
Then one day, they were finally unable to contain the intangible jealousy in them that they decided to pay this man a visit, in hopes of enquiring the secrets to success.
On that day, DL Moody was visited by three young men, all of whom are pastors too.
"Excuse mr moody," said the first man, "we'll cut the long story short and go directly into asking you about why you are so successful".
Moody sunk into introspection before he pointed to the window, and asked the three men what they saw.
The first men approached the window and blithely said " I see the skyscrapers of newyork city protruding from the ground".
The second person approached the window as the first one took a step back. He stared outside of the window, as if lost in deep introspection. Finally, he gave a reply.
"I see two couples taking a stroll down the precints of the neighbourhood."
The third one approached the window attendant with the retreat of the second man. He took a few steps forward, gingerly, and then enquired, "what do you see? Mr Moody?"
Mr Moody placed his arms on the gravel outline of the window as he tooked in a deep breath. He resided into a quarry for a contemplation and then started to murmur something. He struggled to remove the intangible barricade within his gapping throat. He clenched his fist as he attempted to speak. His eyes turned sore red as tears rolled down his face. He fought to even mumble something. The three men were confounded, aghast at the situation.
"What i see outside this window, are millions of people heading towards the path of hades. And i will do everything in my power to bring to them salvation," Moody said, with despondent determination etched over his face.
With that, the three men's queries were sufficed, and they left with content and satisfaction.
It was the exasperation and comprehension of the gravity of the world's predicament that led to his decision to work towards this arduous path. A path which requires ginormous proportions of courage and determination. No an iota less. A journey to share the gospel.

Teen Creed.
Don't let your parents down,
they brought you up.
they brought you up.
Be humble enough to obey,
you may give orders someday.
Choose your companions with care,
you become what they are.
Guard your thoughts,
what you think, you are.
Be master of your habits,
or they will master you.
Don't be a show off when you drive,
drive with safety and arrive.
Don't let the crowd pressure you,
stand for something or you'll fall for anything.
you may give orders someday.
Choose your companions with care,
you become what they are.
Guard your thoughts,
what you think, you are.
Be master of your habits,
or they will master you.
Don't be a show off when you drive,
drive with safety and arrive.
Don't let the crowd pressure you,
stand for something or you'll fall for anything.
