About 24 people turned up, which is very good already.=D
People who came: Bryan, Jie Run, Yong Liang, Titus, Zhen Ning, Nicholas, Qin Xin, Yan Jing, Min Wei, Ya Huan, Grace, Lynn, Dan Dan, Pearl, Khim Geok, Tammy, Wei Yang, Yvonne, Ying Ting, Quan Mei, Samuel, Zhao Jie, Jia En and of course, yours truly, the coordinator of 2D1'07 chalet.=D
We kickstarted the day by having ball games-captain ball and poison ball. When we were leaving the chalet, some people wanted to stay behind to play UNO while Wei Yang stayed behind to 'take care of the boys room'. Anyway, on the way to our destination for our ball games(the beach near the chalet) i turned back to the chalet to retrieve my pair of slippers as i did not want my shoes to be full of sand by the end of the day. However, to my dismay, what i've feared for actually happened. My long trepidations over the ever changing weather held true and it started raining heavily. The people playing the ball games were bombarded by fusillades of diabolical rain drops which ate into their skin. It seems that only i have the foresight to camp inside the chalet xD.
While the rain continued it's vehemence of constricting us to only in door activities, Bryan, Min Wei, Zhao Jie, Samuel, Nicholas and I spammed the Ps2 we 'gouped' from Jie Run. Bummer. Bryan got trashed by Min Wei in naruto, with Min Wei still having more than half health at the end of the game. But, i still pawn.xD.
Anyway, fortunately, we weren't half as hapless as when we were during the 'you know what chalet' dated last year june, when it rained continuously for 3 days. The rain halted its vile assail
on us and we could stick back to our original schedule which i drafted out. 5pm was supposed to be water bombs and it was already 4.50pm and yet the bbq materials and food have yet to be delivered. Fortunately, just in the nick of time, the food came, without delaying much of the water bombs time. Some of us (the netballers and the NPCC members with titus and samuel) went to take the food from the carpark just a stone throw away from the chalet.
Upon returning to the chalet, we immediately started the water bombs game. You know, throughout the chalet, i've this weird anxiety and trepidation that majority of the people there would be super uncooperative, but in the end, it's just my paranoia.
Water bombs was super exhilerating and fun! I relish the thought of bombing everyone there. But obviously, there is bound to be a few coalition alliances. The boys went to attack the girls en bloc as we deemed it very fun. Before the inauguration of the bloc, i managed to rasengan Bryan.xD. However, oversight on my side paved the way to being hit by Byran's chidori.zzz.lol. Anyway, there is this point of time, when everybody, except for ying ting, made a pact to bomb ying ting at the same time, with jia en rolling the films. Which manage to act out a charade so convincing, which is to so-called team up to bomb lynn when she is alone, helpless to fend for herself. And Ying Ting believed and all of us bombed her at one time and ran off in different directions. LOL. Water bombs was so fun la. Poor Ncc cadets and console campers, missed out all the fun. AND QIN XIN TOO. sad for you guys.xD. But don't worry you didn't really miss out ALL of the fun ya?
After water bombs some of us went for our washup while some started the fire for the BBQ. I would like to give special thanks and credits to Dan Dan, Wei Yang, Lynn, Ya Huan, Samuel and Yvonne with a few others for being ever so ready to render your help and so-called service during the bbq sessions while the rest of us were pigging out on the delectable and sumptuous food.
At some point of time before the NCC cadets arrive;
Wei yang: eh, let them cook la,
Kai Siang: okay lol, lets camp there (points at a chair furthest from the pit)
And wei yang was so hilarious, he shared half his Otah with me and half of his remaining half(a quarter) with Quan Mei and carelessly threw away the other half, thinking that all that's left of the otah are the leaves.
Wei yang: Oh my gosh, i thought that no more liao, grr.
I shared half of my half with wei yang and wei yang got more later and we ate more xD.
There;s this table made up of Yvonne, Titus, Tammy, Ying Ting, Quan Mei and Grace, which indulged incessantly in mass gossipping. But yeah, can't disclose who they gossipped abt. So if you think that you are the one, *jolly well*, go do some soul searching.
Quite sometime after that, the NCC cadets returned from their expedition thing.
Then, Lynn, Zhen Ning, Min Wei, Ya Huan, jie Run, nicholas and I went to the arcade together. We played that game where you have to hit the disk with some wierd beyblade like spinning top thing.
Then, we played other things that would win us tickets. And, Ya Huan's and Nicholas' basketball calibre are very good. Pearl and yan Jing later joined us, bringing bbq food along with them lol.
After we left, Qin Xin called me and asked which room are we in. (which at a later point of time, she told us that she enquired that while she was on the train, and the question sounded very wrong because it sounded as if she was asking which hotel room no. to yadayada lol).
And before i forget, we bbqed for a total of 3 hours.
The food was copious and sumptuous i must say :D.
Further more, the company makes everything more enjoyable.
Before Wei Yang, Yvonne, Ya Huan, Min Wei and Lynn left, we did something to end some mental torment for a classmate of mine. But i do not wish to elaborate on who and what is involved. The process was saddening for the *culprit* yet we made it seem ludicrous and hilarious. This simply exemplifies our saddistic nature.
I took another shower at like 10.30 and started to camp in the chalet since then. We watched Saw 3 at 12am. BUT, THE STUPID CODEC CANNOT WORK. sorry guys, oversight on the coordinator's side =x. i assumed that by having a laptop and the disk means can watch. so, zhen ning, jie run, titus, yong liang bryan and qin xin went to mac to download the required codec.
Qin Xin camped at one corner and i wanted to sit next to jie run. Then the way Zhen NIng badgered Qin Xin to sit some where else is so funny la lol. And the way qin xin rejected his humble request was funnier. And she does all those superfluous actions during the movie lol, like adding *woo!* and hand actions during the torturing parts. The only unexpected part was the part where the lady was frozen to death. And i was demoralised when Grace told us that we would be turned on upon seeing the naked lady. Come on la, she so old and weirdo looking lol.
Overall, the SAW3 movie was quite gore and *wiolent*(violent). But still, saw 2 is better. ANyway, we stil didn't manage to finish the movie as the disk was damaged or something.
We went to mac and Zhen Ning and I saw our seniors there lol. Always so concidental lol.
We played truth or dare afterwards. Was rather intriguing initially. Jie Run is a happyman since he has to try everything. real happy. I mean it's like he tio a few times lol, while i'm safe guarded in my *sanctuary*.
Jie Run so sporting la lol, he kissed boys and girls cheeks, rub his nose against girls nose and kissed girls hands and hugged girls. Zhen Ning is always paired up with Tammy.lol.
But my safety was not meant to be until people stop picking on me when it's their turn. I was kissed 2times consecutively and before there could be a third tammy saved my life and labelled me as *limited edition*, which meant that i'm no available to any more *assails*.
After truth or dare, we had mass gossipping session again LOL. This time with me in it. LOL.
At about 9.30am, Jie Run, Qin Xin, Zhen Ning, Nicholas, Grace and I finallygot some sleep. I didn't really sleep though.
i left 2 towels in the chalet T.T. sad. but atleast bryan retrieved my washup tools which i carelessly left in the toilet. THANKS BRYAN.
On the whole the chalet was so great to the extend that, some of us wanted an extension of the chalet. But due to the many factors and circumstances to consider, we called it off and went home for our much relished and cherished beds.lol.
The chalet was a blast, and hopefully we would have one more next year.
